It's together............

.........Civil War Legacy (minus the borders) is together..........waited for Mark and Terri to come over for dinner tonight so I could get a decent pic......which isn't really that great as the colours aren't quite right......the following one taken with the quilt on the floor (which is sideways!) has better colour quality........
I am really happy with the way it has gone together....the borders (hopefully) will be on by the end of the week depending on how the days pan out!

This morning Rose and I went to a puppy reunion.  I called in and picked up Lexi as well so she could join in the fun.  Getting a pic of all of them together was fun!  Rose could have sat up like her Mum and the boys on the right of the pic.....COULD have......but she chose not to........

Then Lexi thought she should get in on the act........come on Rose...come and play.......

No.....not going to play the game...(look at the other's all being so good!)

...I am so out of here........

She had a great time with her siblings and Lexi....and is exhausted tonight!  This was where she spent the afternoon (ball and stick ignored)...while I tackled some housework.

(Note to self: Buy a lawn edger!)

Long weekend - gone!

Gratitudes:
long weekends
finishes

'Til next time.........Lorraine

Looks like everyone had a great time.

I hate using lawn edgers, always think I will shred my feet.

Good on Rose, showing that she doesn't follow the crowd LOL

Little Rose is just reinforcing she is no ordinary dog. She doesnt run with the pack. Seeing as how she is your fur baby I wouldnt expect anything less. You're both awesomely individual.

O.M.G. I've seen bits of that quilt but all put together Loz, it is really one of the most beautiful quilts I have EVER seen.

Edging your lawn is highly over rated. I like the rustic look.

A whipper snipper does the lawn edging quite well. Rose looks a bit bored in the picture, and two of her brothers look as if they would have liked to play with Lexi. Just love that quilt and the colours, I even recognise a block that is the same as the CW BOW.

PS. There is an old man on my street with an absolutely immaculate lawn. I saw him the other day edging it with a shovel. A shovel?? I ask you - there just isn't enough time in the day for that kind of caper!

The quilt looks great even if the colours are a bit out. It must be nice to finish it. I am sure I would never tackle anything with that many small pieces. Love the Rossie shots good on her why should she conform I like a girl with a mind of her own.
