Look who's back.......

Picked up Rose from the boarding kennel this morning......she was very happy to see me......and I her!!  She jumped in the car and settled down..she wasn't going anywhere but home!  Once we got here she checked out the house......drank from every bowl / watering can available.....chased the magpies off the back lawn (I think they had settled in while she was away.......)....and then jumped up on the old church pew at the back of the house and gave me a big grin.....(well that's what it looked like anyway!)

The rest of the day was spent making sure she could see me at all times.........

It's nice to have her home!

'Til next time......................Lorraine

Gosh she is getting big! I love the way she watched you for the rest of the day. That's how my kids were when I got home after almost a week in Adelaide recently!

I don't know that I could leave her---even for a quilting shop hop... :D I do have a 'thing' for doggies.... :) There is no greeting or love like that from our furbabies. :D Is she retriever?? She looks like a mix between retriever and cocker spaniel...God what a beautiful color she is Give her huge hugs for me. :D

Do you blame her? Last time she turned her back you disappeared on a road trip! ;)

Miss Rose is glad you're home. That's so sweet.

You're going to have to take her everywhere from here on in, because she wont let you out of her sight for a minute. Ever again!

She looks so beautiful sitting there, almost makes me wish I had a dog. Yes, she will be keeping her eye on you for a few days, she won't be wanting you to leave again.

Nothing like the love of our four legged kids.

Miss Rose is just far to cute for her own good. You have to love the way our four legged friends react after a lil holiday at the kennel, Henrycat wraps himself around our legs, makes it interesting when you are trying to get things done. Loved the holiday posts too, makes me very envious I think I need a little trip away for some quilty goodness.

Don't those fur babies just make a house a home? I know then I come home and Maggie doesn't greet me because DH has taken her somewhere, it just doesn't feel "right". I'm glad you had such a great vacation. How far from home is that beautiful place?
