Brrrrrr........

Had to break out the gloves this morning when Rose and I hit the streets for our walk......I could have used them last week..but only found them on the weekend!    Beautiful clear morning this morning.....the colours of autumn are truly stunning.  I had a quiet weekend......stitching with the girls on Saturday...well they stitched and I ditched.....after lunch of course...to go to the local footy to watch Mark play. That lazy wind was blowing...the one that's too lazy to go round so cuts right through you......could have done with the gloves then!!

Yesterday I packed up the quilt frame......it is going to it's new home next weekend.  I will miss it.......but I just don't have room for it in this house......and Nay has a whole new sewing area which will suit it much better....and she told me I can have visiting rights.....yay!  I have been working hard at finishing projects that have been sitting round for  too long......way too many memories stored in there with the UFOs .....so I am slowly working through them.

I will post some pics when I get around to taking some...!  In the meantime I will leave you with these shots of a balloon over my neighbour's house......Going.....going........almost gone!

.....time to get to work.....the weekends just dont seem long enough for all the things I have planned...but there is another one scheduled in five days.........!  No progress on CW blocks this weekend......those UFOs are taking priority for now.

'Til next time.............................Lorraine

Yes, it has got cold all of a sudden, makes it a lot harder to get out of a warm bed in the mornings that's for sure.

It's bloody cold at 5.30am when I get up.

Yep- it's time to work on those UFO's and move onto some projects with new awesome memories.

Whatever you make it will be fabulous - you're a complete quilting and stitching superstar Loz.

Brrrr here too! Love the term "lazy wind"! Very clever. Hope you get done with those ufos soon. How nice is Nay giving you visiting rights!

You are cold and we are hot. You can bring Rose and come visit me and warm up. The cooler weather must make you feel more like making quilts.

It is jolly cold here too, feels like the end of winter not the start.
