Colour me happy................

...and I would be even more excited if I could take a decent photo of it!  .....and it won't even do me any good to wait until Mark comes over for dinner (and we all know how he loves to hold up my quilts.....)...because this time he actually has an excuse with his shoulder injury!
 :(
Anyhoo............here are a couple of pics of the quilted CW quilt........

I am really happy with it.....thanks Val !!!
When we were at Val's house for a stitching day a while back I commented on the quilt hangers she has in her quilting room - her husband makes them and I ordered one.  Can't complain about the service......Val and her hubby David delivered the quilt and the quilt hanger this morning - (along with a packet of Mint Slice biscuits for morning tea) and while I made the hot drinks David put the quilt hanger up for me......

...and you thought I was excited yesterday!!?? LOL!  It's the first thing I have put up on the walls in this house........and it's given me the nudge I needed to get some of the pictures out of the spare room where they have been stacked since I moved in and get them up.....might even put the kitchen clock up....it's been leaning against the wall on top of the bread bin for the past year and a bit.......!!
The sun is out today.......I have the house opened up to get rid of any cold germs that may be lingering in the corners......washing on the line blowing in the breeze ......all is well in the house of Loz (and Rose)!  I am off to organise some binding for the quilt........

'Til next time.......................Lorraine

Loz, the civil war quilt makes me speechless. And that doesn't happen often! Absolutely stunning, gorgeous, a work of art! Man, oh, man, I'd love to see that in person. I'd love even more to own it. Thinking that's not going to happen. Maybe if I came to you to pick it up? No? Can't blame a girl for trying. Did I mention that I love it?
