Stitching in Simpson.............

An early start this morning .....and as the sun came up over the hills I was at the airport waiting for an early flight to Melbourne.......

Gail used her extreme driving skills to weave through the traffic at Melbourne airport to pick me up and we were off on our road trip to Simpson for the inaugral Stitch in Spring in Simpson hosted by  Linda from Gum Valley Patchwork with Gail and Lenora as our tutors........had a sneak peek this afternoon while the girls were setting up........will share some pics tomorrow night.  (l will say that Linda has done an incredible job of setting up the local footy clubroom.....lots of goodies on hand for everyone attending)

Staying in a lovely unit right on the bay at Port Campbell......dinner was a great meal at the local Greek restaurant .......and a whole day of stitching coming up tomorrow......Life is good.

'Til next time..........................Lorraine

What a fun trip! Port Campbell is a place I always wanted to visit, and never made it to. Gosh, you make me really want to spend some time with quilt-y friends, or even embroidery friends! I hope you and Gail have a great time. Say hi to Gail. I think she'll remember me.
