Walking off the choccies and cheese...

Great start to the day today with a walk around the bay..........

Followed up by a visit to Linda's shop - just to say goodbye of course...........

Here is Linda with her prize winning quilt Dear Prudence............

......and a close up of some of the 18,000 hexies.....btw Linda is planning her second hexi quilt!!

Threads anyone??

We left Linda re-organising the shop after the stitching day yesterday.....and headed to Castlemaine....arriving just in time to catch 20 minutes shopping in Threadbear before they closed for the day.......hard to do too much damage in 20 minutes - isn't it????  LOL if you believe that you probably believe in the tooth fairy.......!  the shop is open again in the morning so we will be there to check out anything we may have missed today.

Need to catch up on some sleep tonight..........a girl needs her energy -  a big day planned for tomorrow!  Gotta love holidays! btw David...if you are reading this - I won't be in this week!

'Til next time.............Lorraine

My, but you were in a beautiful location! I can fairly hear those waves pounding in. Loved seeing Linda's quilt again. It's so incredible. How CAN she be thinking of sewing more hexies together!? And those racks of Cosmo had me drooling. I've never seen them in a shop hereabouts, so I'm quite envious of you. Thanks for sharing these pictures!

your retreat sounds wonderful Lorraine, what a great time had by all I am sure. And those views, certainly makes walking a very good habit! I think Linda must have rocks in her head (quilting ones that is) planning a second such quilt...it is fabulous!

Glorious views! So, that's how you apply for holidays at your place of employment. Gosh that shop is so pretty. I must get there!

The views of the bay are stunning, looks cold though. I've never seen threads displayed like that, much easier to see the numbers that way.

You would have thought that she (me) could have smiled for the camera! I think I was talking to Gail at the time so I will blame her! It was so great to see you again.....looking forward to February.....(hope David isn't reading this...lol). Don't melt that nice credit card at Threadbare. Linda :)
