Hey Chooky.......we are coming......ready or not!!!

Here we are....the intrepid trio, Lise, Loz and Tracey setting off from Hamilton at 5.45am........

........... and 1053.6kms later we arrived in Wellington to spend the night with Lise's Aunty Judy......who treated us to a wonderful dinner and some much needed refreshments......tea for some.....Scotch for others....... :)

Chooky has been checking on our progress during the day.....just to be sure we are actually coming.......!

We were a little concerend about road closures following the heavy rain in parts of NSW.......and there was evidence of the flooding with water on either side of the road for miles in some places.....only one detour which didn't take us too far out of our way.  Road crews are doing an amazing job of repairing roads - very impressive!

I think these trees are going to have wet feet for a while.....

......and Tracey needed a little rest after the early start.........but once dawn broke she was up and stitching.....

See you tomorrow Chooky!!

'Til next time...............Lorraine
