Look Out ....it's catch up time!

April......really.....April was the last time I was in this space!  May just flew past with it's glorious autumn days of cooler mornings and sunshiny days...the ornamental pears in my front yard went from this......

 ...to this.......

to this......as Autumn has given way to winter with it's frosty mornings and (to date) sunshiny days.....

I have had some wonderful family time with these legends.......

with Rhiannon and Wade and Ezra a Good Friday outing to Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens.....

Lenny and Ezra (and parents) were with me on Mothers Day......

Lenny was helping Uncle Wade cook breakfast....

Lenny and Terri this Mothers Day.....

...and last Mothers Day.......

This year......

...and last year.......

 The boys with their boys.....

....and Mark with little nephew Ezra...

Wade excelling as always in the kitchen making breakfast for us....

...and Ezra after having his breakfast.......

Wonderful family times.....just loving this Granny gig!......

I have also been busy with work of course which is always fun and also in the sewing room which is even better fun!

Some finishes over the last few weeks......a couple of Easter finishes.....which were gifted to children of a work colleague......

and whilst not a sewing finish I am counting the Lindt bunny as a finish....because ...well...you know what happens to Lindt bunnies!

Ezra's quilt is finished and being used by the little man.....  whole cloth - hand quilted - fabrics chosen by Rhiannon.....

A shaggy flannel quilt in the making for a friend's birthday....

...finished and gifted.....(and I hear being well used!)

Another shaggy flannel quilt...finished and in use....by me!

Another finish which was for Rhiannon to gift.....

A top - Blanket Bay quilt - pattern by Frankie and Rae

Also made for Rhiannon to gift to friends in her Mothers Group......Essential Nappy Wallets - pattern by Andrie Designs (formerly Two Pretty Poppets) (unsure, but I think this pattern may have been discontinued).

I managed to get out and about a little as well.....with a visit to Nay's Place, now open in the main street of Waikerie (check Nays FB page for opening times.....

...and a few pics from the day out with Rhiannon and Wade on Good Friday......it was just us......(and several thousand other people......) enjoying the glorious sunny day and fabulous gardens.....even with the large numbers of people it didn't seem crowded - I think a beautiful spot to visit at any time of year, but particularly in Autumn.

I think that's about it.....in a nutshell (so to speak).....so here we are in June - almost half the year gone in what seems like the blink of an eye.

'Til next time.....(and hopefully it won't be two months between posts!)....Lorraine

Life moves at a much quicker pace when there are little ones in the family. That's my theory anyway. Such gorgeous little boys.

You sure had a LOT of catching up to do with this post! Glad to see that you're getting to spend time with family, and finding time to sew. I know exactly how it feels to spend time with little grandsons; I have four! Looks like you're living a grand life. Keep enjoying it.

In this fashion my colleague Wesley Virgin's autobiography launches with this shocking and controversial video.

As a matter of fact, Wesley was in the army-and soon after leaving-he found hidden, "self mind control" tactics that the government and others used to get whatever they want.

As it turns out, these are the EXACT same methods lots of celebrities (especially those who "come out of nothing") and the greatest business people used to become rich and famous.

You probably know that you utilize only 10% of your brain.

That's mostly because the majority of your brainpower is UNCONSCIOUS.

Maybe that thought has even taken place IN YOUR own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head seven years ago, while riding an unregistered, beat-up bucket of a vehicle with a suspended driver's license and in his pocket.

"I'm very fed up with going through life check to check! Why can't I become successful?"

You've taken part in those thoughts, ain't it right?

Your own success story is waiting to start. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
