Then......
Now......
Then.....
Now......
I have never been a "gardener" so this is the perfect garden for me....some water now and then and not too much upkeep! The weeds are easy to keep under control as well - a couple of hours here and there and they are gone! I think they found a new home in the pebbled driveway though and the pebbles were being drowned in a sea of green....I decided spraying would be the best option at this stage so over Easter I did that.....then (because I am impatient and spraying doesn't work instantly) I realised that dead weeds would be just as annoying for me to look at as live weeds, so I started weeding the driveway! I always find big tasks are easier if they are broken down into smaller sections....a bit like climbing a hill, it seems easier if you look just a couple of steps ahead instead of at the entire hill.....so that's how I "attacked" it.......and after a few sessions it was done...a weed free driveway! I was very pleased with it! and it was great "thinking time"......No doubt the weeds will come back, but I am thinking I might start saving for a concrete driveway!
'til next time.......Lorraine

Wow - that is a huge difference! Can't believe how much the trees have grown!

Amazing tree growth they must like the position
Looks so nice...you must value those shady trees!
Wow. You obviously made the right planting choices, everything is growing so well. I know what you mean about weeding......I'd rather pull them out than look at dead weeds too. My garden is far bigger than my abilities as a gardener, it takes a lot to keep it all under control.
wow its looking fantastic Loz,its a real credit to you, hope you have a lovely day my friend.xx
Its a lovely garden...
Doesn't time fly! Your garden is looking very lush now x
I cant believe how much those trees have grown!
Your driveway didn't look all that bad. I would have left those weeds to die , crumble and blow away. You're a better woman than I am!
I love looking back on garden photos to see how much plants develop, your garden is amazing how much everything has grown. What type of trees are they?
Very well said. These tips are really amazing. I appreciate it for sharing them.
