After leaving the Lakes District on Saturday Rhi and Wade had to head back to London to get ready for work on the Monday - so we tok a little detour off the M6 to catch up with an IG friend. I spent the next few days with Gail who showed me around some of the beautiful villages in her neck of the woods....nothing like seeing a place through the eyes of a local! I will leave you with some pics from Bridgnorth.
Love these little railway cars .......
The view from the top.......
There is a steam train which operates from Bridgnorth - unfortunately (or you may be thinking fortunately..) the battery in the camera died so no moreics from Bridgnorth .....Next stop Ironbridge and Blists Hill Victorian Town.
'Til next time.........Lorraine

The country side and village pictures you are sharing are just gorgeous... like getting bulk postcards
What a beautiful place.
How lovely to catch up with an IG friend and Bridgnorth looks such a charming village with all the daffodils out as well.
so different to anything in australia. The Internet makes the world a smaller place, lovely that she was able to show you around.
Fabulous photos,
Loz! It will be so hard to come back to Oz! (Oops, unintended rhyme here!) Stay happy and well. xx

This particular post brought back some find memories as my husband and I visited Bridgnorth when we were "courting".
