When all else fails...........there is always chocolate (and fabric)!

Lindt bunnies on the march............

..........they were everywhere..........

We are experiencing perfect weather over Easter and today I decided I needed to visit Jane at the Patchwork Apple.....when I had the big clean up in the sewing room and put  some most of my fabric in storage (explanation to follow - watch this space) I didn't keep out any background-y fabric suitable for stitcheries ..... so a trip to the Patchwork Apple was necessary...essential if you like! I needed fabric for the Gardener's Journal stitcheries which I am hoping to trace tonight.....I think I have decided to use the Garden Party fabric from Blackbird Designs.....note I said "I think".....there is of course time for me to change my mind!

So while I watch the footy on TV I will be tracing the first of the stitcheries ready to stitch.....with a nice cuppa and a quilt over my knees....love the chill of autumn in the air.....!

I also have to make a decision about which Lindt bunny to eat first.....do I fancy white choccy or milk?

Those of us here in Aus (in the states which have daylight saving) get an "extra" hour when clocks go back tonight from daylight saving time to "normal" time......an hour....not to be sneezed at!

'til next time................Lorraine

PS -  decision made - the white rabbit has lost it's head!

Oh Loz, you make me giggle. Like the Queen of Hearts in Alice's story... "Off with her head!"

So glad you get an extra hour of sleep. Heavenly, isn't it?

When you trace your stitcheries, which marker do you favor?

I took a little trip to Hettie's Patch today, I'm slowly working my way around all the quilt shops in the greater Adelaide area, we are so lucky to have so many and all quite close. I would have been looking for a dark chocolate bunny myself.

Happy Easter Love. Your photography is the best and may I steal the one of your cuppa and the bunnies on the trunk? Enjoy you extra hour tonight - lucky bunny. Today I am taking a class that Kim is teaching at Bearpaws and Hollyhocks - Baa Baa Black Sheep Have You Any Wool. She had us help her carry in many laundry baskets full of her "what-nots" last night before book club and said she has another car load of baskets waiting at home to bring in today before class. It is going to be interesting at best and fun for sure. Wish you were here. Thinking of you - and wishing you the best of Easter Wishes.

I'm still a tiny bit grumpy from losing our hour over here a few weeks ago...I NEEDED that hour, dangitall!

Love your new header pic and all the Lindt bunnies. At least you have got some sort of decoration for Easter...I still have my St. Patrick's Day banner hanging from the porch beam!

What gorgeous bunnies! My knees get shaky, just thinking about how delish it would be to bite one of those heads off. Dark or white -- either one would be fine with me. The important thing is that it's c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e!
Your new header is lovely.

So much for that extra hour of sleep Loz. I'm awake now... at 5am! STUPID!! Maybe I'll go eat some chocolate. After all it's the only day I might get away with eating chocolate for breakfast! (Mustn't let the kids in on that secret!) Trust you to find an excuse to go shopping for more fabric!! ;)

Oh crap.
I forgot to turn the clocks back last night. I could have had an extra hour in bed.
Only realised when I read your remark.

I must say I am over Daylight Savings, sick of getting up in the dark and going for a walk. Now at least it will be daylight. Haven't seen a white lindt bunny would have preferred that, bought myself a milk one instead. But I am sure the kids will share some of their hoard.

Well, how was it? I have ONE of those bunnies too. Say, do you suppose if I hold off on eating it, that it would multiply?

I'm sure your not going to eat all those bunnies. They do look cute all lined up together.

Those bunnies were living on borrowed time anyway. Put them out of their misery I say.
